Since 1992, A K Peters, Ltd. has specialized in publishing computer science and mathematics products. Founded by Alice and Klaus Peters, the Company's program ranges from textbooks through advanced professional publications and includes a range of specialist trade titles as well as scholarly monographs. Across these formats, the program is focused on editiorial quality and reader-friendly design.
A K Peters has nearly 300 titles in print and publishes approximately 35-40 new titles annually. In addition, we distribute the proceedings of the annual Graphics Interface conference, sponsored by the Canadian Human-Computer Communications Society. We are the co-publisher of the Canadian Mathematical Society's new CMS Treatises in Mathematics Series. Our titles have been featured in the Scientific American Book Club and are consistently reviewed or excerpted in both technical and popular interest journals, such as Game Developer Magazine, The Mathematical Intelligencer, Nature, Science, and New Scientist.
In 2010, A K Peters became a part of CRC Press and the Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. This extended our reach globally and increased the line of quality publications now available to A K Peters' customers.
